Returns Policy

 

Freight information :

Delivery within Australia: 

  • We deliver Australia Wide.
  • We deliver using Australia Post and Star Track Freight Road Express. 
  • Major Cities allow 1-5 days. Regional Areas allow 1-10 days. 

Overseas Delivery: 

Currently our online shop is only automated to deliver within Australia.  
If you are from outside Australia, you can email us with your order details and your shipping address.  

The cost of your order, including freight will then be calculated and we will email  your total cost back to you. If you then wish to proceed with the order, a direct deposit into our bank account will be required prior to the order being shipped. (refer below for direct deposit). 

Any import taxes or other charges that may be charged when receiving your goods are at the customers cost.  

Freight Cost : 
Freight costs are based on the combined weight of the product(s) ordered or cubic weight for large items. 

Freight charges : 
Freight charges are to be paid for by the customer

Pricing :  

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are include Goods and Service Tax (GST).
  • Pricing is subject to change without notice .
  • Prices do not including shipping costs. 

Prices are correct at the time of publishing, however they can change without notice. This may be due to a change in supplier pricing. Customers will be notified of any price increase prior to items being dispatched 

 

Additional Fees and Charges :

If we incur extra delivery charges as a result of your action or inaction, these may be passed on to you at our discretion. 

An example of such charges are second delivery charges by couriers as a result of you or someone who can receive the goods not being in attendance at your nominated delivery address when you have specified that the address is attended during normal business hours. 

Restocking fee of AU$10.00 or 20% of our sales price, whichever is greater, applies for each non-faulty item returned, for whatever reason.

 

Payment :  

Payment will be processed at time of order. 

Credit Card
We gladly accept Mastercard and Visa. Credit Card payments are processed online when you place your order.

Direct Deposit
You can order via email and direct deposit your payment into our bank account, after receive an Invoice.

When we have received your email order, we will give you the cost of your order including frieght and our bank details. 

You will also be provided with a reference number which we require you to use when you transfer your funds into our bank account.  

This reference number is needed to match your payment with your order. 

Once your payment is received your order will be despatched. 

Please allow 2-3 business days for your funds to be received into our bank account. 

 

Refund, Return & Replacement:

We are happy to credit or exchange any unopened goods within 14 days, provided we receive the goods in original condition. Returns will be approved at our discretion and all postage costs are to be incurred by the customer.

  • Please contact us or email : sales@boattrailerspares.com.au with your specific problem and we will respond with instructions on how to proceed prior to returning your goods.
  • All refunds and exchanges require proof of purchase to be returned with the goods
  • The product must be returned in original condition and packaging, with all accessories and contents.
  • We recommend that you return the product via Australia post and you must prepaid all returns postage, you assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with Australia post. 
  • Boat Trailer Spares reserves the right to refuse to accept, and to return, parcels that arrive COD or have More To Pay stamped on them.
  • Refunds will only be given once we have received and inspected the item(s). 
  • If the goods are found to be in working condition your shipping and packaging costs will not be refunded.
